Super Aqua Grotesk typeface

Super Aqua Grotesk is a display typeface created while working on the Super Aqua Club water park rebrand. The idea was to integrate the concept of water into the letterforms by transforming some of the ink traps into waves.

We wanted to font to have a lot of personality so that it demanded attention when used on a billboard without affecting its overall legibility when used in applications that required it being much smaller. The result is a well-built Grotesk font with a quirky side.
